The Merino sheep are a breed of domestic sheep characterized by very fine and soft wool. First established in Spain in the Middle Ages, the breed quickly spread around the world in the 18th century. On the other hand, cashmere adapts to the temperature of the air, which is the reason why it is warmer and lighter than wool. Indeed, cashmere adapts to the humidity of the air, which explains why it is much warmer than wool while being lighter.
