An Australian Merino cultivated by generations of Australian woolgrowers. Australian merino is known to carry wool fibers of the highest quality - both extremely soft and fine, and is used predominantly for luxury and performance apparel. Merino wool is renewable and biodegradable.
A 100% Australian Merino Wool Flannel by famous 130 year old Austrian mill Leichtfried Loden, arguably the premier source worldwide for top-end, durable woolen fabrics in their signature mottled finish. The carefully selected Australian wool passes through a complex process involving dyeing and spinning the fine woolen and weaving it together. Then comes the fulling, the most important part of the production, where the raw fabric shrinks in warp and weft directions, resulting in a comfortable touch and grip. The finished cloth has a very nice drape to it.
The fabric is then sent over to Informale's atelier in Melbourne, where it is handcut and sewed to make the easy trousers. Informale have up skilled their atelier to be able to provide the level of finishing required in a true high-end tailored trouser, with open seams, a cotton saddle piece in the crotch and extra fabric throughout to allow clients to tweak the fit to perfection. The cut is full, with a double pleat, slanted hip pockets and understated welt pockets at the back. With Informale's signature approach to comfort in mind, they have engineered two subtle elastic panels in the waistband which conform easily to the waistline of the wearer no matter the time of the day or size of the meal. Belt loops set slightly lower than the top of the waistband offer the ability to both conceal the features of the waistband and add an extra tailored detail with a belt.
